It is also a key livelihood project in Mongolia. The main construction content of the project includes the expansion of generator unit functions, circulating water system of cooling tower, heating network system, chemical water treatment system, 110 KV overhead power transmission and distribution and weak current control system and related ancillary facilities and other new construction projects. The total construction scale of the project is with a maximum power generation capacity of 50 MW.

The design, procurement, civil engineering, installation, commissioning and other aspects of the project have fully realized "Designed in China, Made in China, and Built by China". Relying on Chinese standards and taking into account Mongolia's special circumstances, the project team optimized the design and vigorously promoted China's advanced new technologies and processes.
