In accordance with HCIG’s “Four Sameness” code of conduct, the Southeast Asia Regional Division of SHICO actively cooperated with HCIG units to “go global together” and achieved results. Recently, together with Hunan Construction Investment Bestall Water Conservancy Company, it successfully won the bid for the 45MW hydropower EPC project in Pahang, Malaysia, which was the first hydropower project undertaken by HCIG in Southeast Asia.

The project is located in Cameron Highlands, Pahang, Malaysia, with a total construction period of 48 months and a winning bid price of approximately RMB 904 million. After completion, the project will effectively improve the tight power supply situation in Pahang and provide a stable clean power guarantee for the development of local economy and people's livelihood.

Southeast Asia is a key regional market for HCIG to expand overseas. This winning bid will further enhance the Group’s brand influence in the Southeast Asian market and is an important milestone for HCIG to develop the clean energy market in Southeast Asia.
