The total construction area of the project reaches 18,425 square meters, with 6,500 fixed and movable seats, and the competition hall area is 58×30 meters. The Stadium was the main venue for the first Asian Gymnastics Championships and the fifth National Urban Games.

The project won the 2004 Luban Award.
