This is the first large-scale cable-stayed bridge in Philippines with a total length of 2.17 kilometers, across Cagayan River. The main bridge adopts 82.5m+2x157.5m+82.5m three-tower, four-crossing, double-caple-plane prestressed concrete extradosed cable-stayed bridge. It is a two-way four-lane 13.42 m-wide bridge.

The project was awarded as a typical case of foreign investment and economic cooperation of Hunan construction industry in 2021.
