This project is the connection project of China-Maldives Friendship Bridge, which is the link road connecting Hulhumale Island (main island) and Hulhule Island. The total length of this road is 3.6 kilometers, including the widening of the existing two-way two-lane to four lanes through hydraulic reclamation, the addition of a digue and the construction of a roundabout.

After the completion of this project, it will greatly alleviate the traffic pressure caused by the opening of the China-Maldives Friendship Bridge, which will help the Maldivian people realize their century-old dream of connecting the three islands. This is also an important project to improve people's livelihood and promote economic development.
