The Tongling Yangtze River Highway Bridge in Anhui Province is a cable-stayed bridge with a main span of 432 meters. It was completed and opened to traffic in December 1995. It was the first bridge of its type in Asia and the third in the world at that time.

The project won the second prize of the National Prize for Progress in Science and Technology, the China Construction Engineering Luban Award, and the National User Satisfaction Award.
