On August 28-29, Liu Yiqi, chairman of SHICO, and his delegation traveled to Bangladesh to oversee the production of vital projects and engage in business market integration.

On August 28, Liu and his delegation visited the construction site for the Rajshahi project to assess its progress. They confirmed the initial results achieved during the current phase. At the meeting with the project department's staff, Liu presented three expectations for all employees. First, we must collaborate to make the project as a model for internal units in HCIG's overseas operations. All participating units must share a clear understanding of the mission, communicate effectively, and support one another through both challenges and successes. Second, we shall work together to achieve our common goal and establish the project as an international example of HCIG's "dual management" strategy. We shall fulfill all requisites and adapt to practical circumstances to elevate our project management and control standards in areas such as project cost, staff training, safety, quality, and party-building efforts. Third, it is imperative that we collaborate to establish this project as an exemplary demonstration of cooperation between China and Bangladesh in the domain of livelihood projects. We must work with all involved parties to efficiently allocate resources, improve local management, and produce top-notch endeavors that enhance HCIG brand's image, benefit the people of Bangladesh, and fortify the friendship between China and Bangladesh.

During his visit to Bangladesh, Liu met with the Rajshahi municipal government, relevant Bangladeshi ministries, and the Economic Counselor’s Office of the Chinese Embassy to discuss HCIG's future business expansion in the Bangladeshi market. Their exchanges aided in the progression of deepening the market.
