From September 11 to 14, Zheng Wei, president of the Hunan Branch of the Export-Import Bank of China (EIBC), and his delegation conducted the post-loan inspection on the DHB affordable housing project (Wirihana) of SHICO and the Roskill Mountain housing project (Te Māra) of Hunan Construction Investment Group No.2 Engineering Co., Ltd. in New Zealand. The important information of the two projects were shared at the meeting, including the basic situation, contract performance status, financing withdrawal, sales collection, and guarantee measures for timely repayment.

The delegation also visited the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development of New Zealand, Kiwibuild and Kainga Ora offices, the Chinese Consulate General in Auckland, and Avant Group, learned about the policies as well as medium and long-term planning of the urban development, characteristics of the engineering market, the current situation of Chinese enterprises, compliance management, and safety protection in New Zealand, and discussed potential cooperation projects, laying a solid foundation for the healthy and sustainable development of HCIG in New Zealand.
During this period, HCIG also signed cooperation memorandums with Avant Group and Trade Depot (a well-known New Zealand import trading company and a warehouse store).
