From November 29 to December 9, Li Zhenlai, Vice Chairman and General Manager of SHICO, led a team to Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia for work docking.

Kyrgyzstan is an important partner of China on The Belt and Road and an important country for China to connect Central Asia, Russia and Europe. In recent years, economic and trade cooperation between China and Kyrgyzstan has achieved leapfrog development. While in Kyrgyzstan, Li Zhenlai visited Aqylbek Japarov, Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan, Bakyt Torobayev, First Deputy Prime Minister, and heads of relevant ministries and commissions. Kyrgyzstan inquired in detail about the progress of the Manas International Trade and Logistics Zone project, and stated that the project was a national strategic project of Kyrgyzstan and had cross-epochal significance in promoting local economic reform and development. The Kyrgyzstan Government attached great importance to and would fully support the implementation of the project. Li Zhenlai introduced SHICO’s international business in detail. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on promoting cooperation in infrastructure construction, mineral development, new energy and renewable energy. During the visit, Li Zhenlai conducted on-site investigation and research on the local business and logistics zone project, visited Dordoy Bazaar, Asia Mall, Osh Bazar and other local markets, and obtained relevant information of construction, market operation, etc.

While in Mongolia, Li Zhenlai conducted an on-site inspection of SHICO’s ET coal mine road project in Mongolia. The project department reported on the project’s external environment, personnel and equipment configuration, on-site construction and quality, safety and environmental protection management, as well as key tasks and overall planning in 2024. Li Zhenlai pointed out that the project department should strengthen communication with the owner unit, in-depth study and research of the entire industry chain information involved in the project, and should regard the project as an opportunity to develop new models, train a strong team, and establish a strong brand.
