On October 13, 2023, the Changsha International Green Intelligent Construction and Building Industrialization Expo & World Construction Conference (ICBIE) commenced at the Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center. With the theme of "Green Leads Development, Intelligent Manufacturing Dreams for the Future," this year's ICBIE aims to build a professional and high-quality development platform for the entire housing and construction industry chain. The event integrates policy interpretation, forum discussions, exhibitions, exchanges and cooperation, and trade negotiations to promote open collaboration and exchange opportunities.

Organized by Hunan University and co-organized by Hunan Construction Industry “Going Global” Cooperation Alliance, "Asia City 2050: International Conference on High Quality Construction and Sustainable Cities” was successfully held at ICBIE. At the signing ceremony, Liu Yiqi, the SHICO's chairman and Director of Hunan Construction Industry “Going Global” Cooperation Alliance, and Zhang Guoqiang, Director of (Hunan University) National Center for International Research Collaboration in Building Safety and Environment signed the strategic cooperation agreement. According to the agreement, both parties will conduct researches on international scientific and technological standards in the fields of factory building technology, new energy building applications, and zero-carbon community technology, cooperate to establish and operate an international scientific and technological cooperation and business exchange platform, and create a "Green Intelligent Technology R&D and Exchange Platform Construction Committee" to jointly promote further exchange of international business information within the construction industry.

This agreement presents a valuable opportunity for the Hunan Construction Industry “Going Global” Cooperation Alliance to deepen practical cooperation with all parties. In the future, the Alliance will further strengthen docking and deepen cooperation, actively promote Chinese standards to go global, join hands with alliance enterprises to form a "joint fleet" of standard output, and contribute a "demonstration" force to accelerate the pace of Hunan Province's "going global".

Asia City 2050 established a round table forum titled "Going Out and Bringing In to Build a Green and Low-Carbon World: Transformation and Upgrading of China’s Construction Industry and International Scientific and Technological Collaboration". During the event, Li Zhenlai, Vice Chairman and General Manager of SHICO, presented the company's experiences.

It is reported that Asia City 2050: International Conference on High Quality Construction and Sustainable Cities was successfully held, gathering domestic and international experts and scholars to discuss innovation policies, mechanisms, education, and technology. The event aimed to establish a theoretical foundation for the discussion of ICBIE. This year's Asia City 2050 will prioritize promoting high-quality green construction and encouraging the exchange of new breakthroughs, technologies, achievements, methods, results, trends, and norms within relevant industries across cities worldwide, to contribute to the ICBIE.
