From March 14th to 15th, Chairman Liu Yiqi of SHICO led a team to Thailand for inspection and docking.

At the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Kingdom of Thailand, Liu Yiqi met with Yang Qing, First Secretary and second-level Inspector of the Economic and Commercial Office. He also introduced the overall situation of HCIG’s international business, development status and plans in Thailand. Yang Qing affirmed SHICO’s achievements in developing the market in Thailand, and gave a detailed introduction to Thailand’s current political and economic situation, projects contracted by institutions in Thailand, and future development trends. She hoped that SHICO will actively participate in China-Thailand cooperation in various fields, and the embassy would fully support SHICO’s various work in Thailand.

At the Thailand branch, Liu Yiqi pointed out that the completed Aibo Sunshine Copper Ingot Factory Project was a typical case of “Engineering & Trade Interaction”, and we must comprehensively analyze and summarize it to form a model that can be replicated and promoted. He pointed out that the project was also a successful case of collaborative development with brother units within HCIG, and it was necessary to continuously improve leading capabilities and service levels in subsequent cooperation.

At the project site that was about to start, Liu Yiqi stressed that we must carefully plan the construction organization, effectively implement the requirements of the “double-management action,” strengthen the training of talent teams, and improve management and efficiency creation capabilities.

Liu Yiqi and his party also investigated the Thai agricultural and fishery products market. He asked the Thai branch to seize the good opportunities in the Thai trade market, keep in line with HNCIIT, dig deep into high-quality source markets, and create a demonstration benchmark for the SHICO’s high-margin trade business.
