From March 22 to April 3, Li Zhenlai, Chairman of SHICO, led a delegation to Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia for business coordination and discussions.
In Bishkek, Li Zhenlai and his delegation visited relevant ministries of the Kyrgyz Republic Government and held talks with leaders of China-Kyrgyzstan Investment Holding Co., Ltd., the project developer. The two sides conducted in-depth discussions on advancing key project construction and future cooperation.
In Ulaanbaatar, Li Zhenlai‘s team held a meeting with Mongolia’s MAK Group. The discussions focused on further promoting cooperation across the mining industry chain, including mine development, digital mine construction, cross-border logistics, and value-added further processing.
While in Kyrgyzstan, Li Zhenlai and his delegation visited the construction site of the Kyrgyzstan Eurasia Trade and Logistics Complex (Chuy Region) to conduct on-site inspections and extend their regards to frontline workers. He closely examined progress on construction, safety management, cost control, and labor management. For the next phase of work, he stressed the need to coordinate all available resources to ensure orderly project advancement; to fully support the owner’s sales efforts and create favorable conditions for contractual delivery; and to strengthen safety awareness, strictly implement the HCIG’s “dual management action” requirements, and continue driving cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
Relevant leaders from SHICO’s Strategic Development Department (Enterprise Management Center), the Kyrgyzstan Eurasia Trade and Logistics Complex (Chuy Region) Project Team, and the Mongolia Representative Office also participated.
